This is a gasoline additive that has been phased out of use in the U.S. in favor of ethanol.  It has contaminated many drinking water supplies and has been widely identified in the human body.  Studies have linked it to a variety of potential problems, including neurological and reproductive damage.
The reality is that there are no safe levels of exposure to any of these types of chemicals, now found in our environment.  Toxic contaminants accumulate in the body over time and have a tendency to over-load the body’s natural detoxification pathways.  The results can lead to any number of severe symptoms or chronic debilitating diseases.  It is critical now, more than ever to eat a diet which supports the body’s natural detoxification system so these hazardous chemicals can be safely escorted from the body without generating harmful free-radicals that cause more damage.

Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, M.D. PhD has determined that there is a direct correlation between stored fat-soluble toxins and infectious pathogens.  He states that "for each equivalent of stored toxins there is an equal amount of pathogenic microorganisms in the body".  The presence of stored toxins causes the immune system deficiency that supports the growth of pathogens like bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites.

According to the Columbia University School of Public Health, 95% of cancer is caused by environmental toxicity and a diet lacking in vital nutrients.  Everything you eat, drink, breathe and absorb through your skin eventually reaches your liver. According to the American Liver Foundation, your liver helps fight infections, cleans the blood, helps digest food and stores energy for when you need it. A healthy liver has the amazing ability to grow back, or regenerate, when it is damaged. Your liver also works as a chemical factory, producing substances such as cholesterol and bile that perform vital tasks in your body.

The body is made up of approximately 150 trillion cells. Individual cells operate as miniature factories producing energy and raw materials to drive and build your body. Your body is under constant reconstruction. Every seven years you have a brand new body. The burning of food to generate energy and raw materials for running and building the body generates metabolic waste that the body must dispose of through the elimination system.

Our bodies are designed to metabolize, cleanse, heal and repair on a daily basis. This will occur as long as we eat a diet high in fresh organic fruits, vegetables and seeds, as they are the natural detoxifiers for our body (it is equally as important to avoid unhealthy foods). If the gallbladder is clear and there is adequate fiber available from the diet, excess fat is eliminated through the bowels. Very often the liver is congested and the gallbladder is blocked. Sugar and processed foods are the main culprits for degenerating organs and jamming functioning systems. Gallstones are formed from mucus (sugar), surrounded by hardened layers of cholesterol, unabsorbed and misplaced minerals and salts. Gallstones are geometric in shape, which easily fit together and pack tightly into the gallbladder. Stones or gravel develop and accumulate over time, blocking the essential flow of bile, resulting in toxic build up and a reduction in quality of health.
